Dear simonyin.com Supporter,
Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Here is my obligatory child pic, and yes, if you look closely enough, you can see my child nuts.

I grew up in Atlanta, GA with plans to go to medical school, but I ended up as an investment banker instead. Boy, that shit sucked. One morning, I saw a random ad for a improv comedy class…I checked it out, and the rest is history.
Currently, I am an Actor and Director living in Hong Kong and after more than ten years in biz, I’ve found that my passion still lies in the entertainment biz…much to mama Yin’s chagrine (she still clings on to the desperate hope that I will still be a doctor one day). Directing is taking over my life now, while any acting that I get to be lucky enough to do, is just a bonus. It’s funny, how life offers you opportunities that you never even knew you wanted.
And with that, I leave you with a quote from my main man, Kevin Costner. He gives an analogy between an artists’ dedication to that of tossing out weight to lighten a plane that is going down.
” I think one of the first things to go as people’s lives start to go down is their dreams. Dreams should be the last thing to go-dreams are the thing you go down with. If you’re left clinging to a piece of driftwood in the middle of the ocean, I’d put on it the word DREAMS.”
Here’s to never stopping the dream, and enjoying all the YINTERTAINMENT along the way. Thanks again for stopping by.
Blessings, ya’ll.
Love,
